What Overthink is
Overthink is a personal clarity tool. You write what's on your mind. We use an AI model to separate the situation into facts, fears, assumptions, realistic outcomes, a grounding question, and one calm next step.
What Overthink is not
Overthink is not medical advice, therapy, diagnosis, or crisis support. The breakdown is generated by a language model and may be wrong, incomplete, or inappropriate for your situation. Do not rely on it for medical, legal, financial, or safety decisions.
If you are in crisis or in immediate danger, contact emergency services or a qualified provider. The in-app Crisis Resources screen lists hotlines and directories.
Your account
You must be at least 17 years old to use Overthink. You are responsible for keeping your password secure. You may delete your account at any time from Settings, which removes all of your data.
Subscriptions
Overthink Pro is an auto-renewing subscription billed monthly ($4.99 USD) or annually ($29.99 USD), with a 7-day free trial for new subscribers. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at the end of your trial unless you cancel at least 24 hours before. Your subscription automatically renews unless turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel your subscription in your Apple ID account settings.
Acceptable use
Use Overthink for your own personal reflection. Do not use it to generate content that targets, harasses, defames, or harms others; to attempt to extract personal information about others; or in any way that violates applicable law. We may suspend accounts that violate these principles.
Your content
You retain ownership of every breakdown you create. By using the service you give Overthink a limited license to store and display that content back to you, and to transmit the text you submit to our AI provider so the model can generate a breakdown. We do not sell your content, claim ownership of it, or use it to train AI models.
Service availability
We try hard to keep the service up, but we don't promise uninterrupted service. We may pause, modify, or discontinue features at any time. Rate limits apply to prevent abuse and protect our infrastructure.
No warranty
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Overthink and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data or goodwill, arising from your use of the service.
Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be noted at the top of this page and surfaced in-app.
